a little something i wrote while i was out in Joshua Tree California here in late January….

Time

When you’re in your element with friends, doing work you enjoy, time goes by so fast. In no time at all 2 or 3 or even 4 hours can pass in what seems like minutes.

Out in the desert, alone, however, time is a bit different. You wonder how days can be so long or how 3 hours can seem like an eternity.

Time however is fixed. 60 seconds, Every time. Always. A constant. Scientists use time to define things it’s so steady and unchanging.

Yet it appears not so to us.

We largely experience time, as it relates to joy, fun, happiness or as it relates to our own ego needs or comfort.

It’s a funny thing that time.

well, i survived.

here in the next couple days i’ll post up some thoughts from the desert and some stuff God taught me out there…
