20 day countdown…
sounds crazy, but summer is coming to an end.
in 20 days, students will overwhelm Ball State and start moving tons of their stuff into what will be called home for the next 9 months - 7 years.
it’s an exciting time and i always love the feel of students returning to campus. it’s also a crazy busy time as we prep for the return and try to get our stuff together so that we have some semblance of being “ready.”
for those of you that are so inclined and enjoy talking to God about what we’re doing here as a church at Ball State, i’d cherish your prayers along the following lines:
- pray for student’s hearts, that they would be open, receptive, and even seeking after truth, real love, and genuine life.
- pray for us and the other christians here at ball state, that we’d love as Jesus has loved us. pray that we’d lay down our lives not as a show, but in genuine care and concern. help us to love well.
- pray for wisdom for our church, that we’d be following God into his plans and not just pushing forward with our own.
- pray that we would be a church of prayer and dependance, needy, weak and subject to God.
- and pray for the financial support teams for myself and our staff team here that God would provide needed partners and that we would be faithful to do the work we need to in that area.
